Nevado, Mallorca by Andres Nieto Porras

The mountains of Mallorca covered in snow. Photo by Andres Nieto Porras.

The building seen on top of Puig Major is a military radar tower, built and installed by the Americans in 1958. There are doubts about the nature of military installations and whether the responsibility lies with the Spanish or American army. Presumably Spanish military use.
